The LANDMARK trial's 2-year data extend the noninferiority signal seen at 1 year for the Myval balloon-expandable transcatheter heart valve against contemporary SAPIEN and Evolut platforms in severe aortic stenosis.
The 1-year composite of death, stroke, and valve-related hospitalizations was essentially identical between arms (87.0% vs 86.9%), and the 2-year readout reported at TCT continues that trajectory without a new safety signal.
This is the first head-to-head randomized comparison of Myval against both market-leading platforms simultaneously.
A few caveats deserve adjacent placement.
